The time is 7:14pm, the sound of a baby crying is heard down the hallway of the waiting room of the hospital, and the screams of joy can be heard from Akanbi’s family. These were stories from the birth of Akanbi that was shared with him, It didn’t take Akanbi too long in life to figure out, that the voice of a parental male figure was not amongst those screams down the hall of the waiting room.

Decades later, in a room filled with almost all of his favorites people, as Akanbi blew the candles of his birthday cake, which carried his startup and all its portfolio companies, he could see the joy in their faces, in this moment, Akanbi would gain a new level of clarity, as he glanced at their faces, he realized, he had been a positive impact in their lives and the lives of so many and as he made his wish, a huge smile of satisfaction could be seen on Akanbi’s face as Akanbi would realized his life had been an adventure and a balance of emotions and moments.
