The Gambler

€ 2,09

A Short Story about the writer as gambler, its not viva las vegas, and its not okay. Not a very successful gambler, not even a whale. But it is a wryly told tale of the gamblers environment along with some of the sordid if not compelling even slightly ludicrous, rather horrific characters one could encounter in these temples of money that go by hallowed name of 'the casino'.
A short but tidy little story with a twist to it's tale! Wonderfully told even if of black humor. Best friend Messrs. Bad Luck would enjoy this dark but unnecessarily short read & encounter with the demons of the gamble. A story any casino queen or winner & loser could well relate to!

"Readable and topical, load up the dice and begin the loss. The gambler finally wins, but how?"

Throughout the eighties and nineties was a regular at various casinos. Mainly as a way of escaping the drudgery of always being in low waged jobs and being told what to do all day was desperate to make some real money and my only real practical alternative it seemed was to gamble and hope to win. Blackjack was my game. It was simple and uncomplicated. Just what I liked in life!...

"Winners & losers place your bets!! The wheel is about to spin you a tale both tragic/comic. An easy ride an easy tale, a short story with a twist! Let the casino queens shimmer and dance the night away. Let the dirty and mean finally play clean. Let the loser choose life. Its all there in this wonderful short story" -5stars
