The Cerberus Incident is one part of a series of short stories about Josey Binkle, a young man who has been forced to take on the task to guide the souls of children to safety before they can be claimed forever by demons searching for easy prey. His only weapon is an ancient holy sword crafted for use in the crusades. In this story, Binkle has come to a small town to hunt vampyres, but instead finds a pair of zombies. He fights the zombies, but is harassed by a three headed creature sent by a demon to destroy him.
