Healing Germany – Restoring the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in the Federal Republic of Germany

€ 4,99

The International Community should be advised that the government of Germany is currently in dispute – since Germany is currently like a lost puppy, which needs guidance by the NGO Community to restore Germany’s integrity, virtue and respect in the International Community. As things stand, the government of Germany is failing to uphold its moral responsibility of protecting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in Afghanistan. There are also increased reports of gender-based violence by the Taliban – including abductions, forced marriages and rape. Also, the United Nations high commissioner for human rights, Michelle Bachelet, stating that she had received credible reports of the Taliban committing serious violations, including summary executions of civilians. Several sources confirmed the execution of two senior police officials - Haji Mullah Achakzai, the security director of Badghis province, and Ghulam Sakhi Akbari, security director of Farah province; both murdered in cold blood by the Taliban. It should also be noted, that Germany failed to persuade the US to delay its military withdrawal from Kabul airport to ensure the safe evacuation of its nationals and Afghans who had worked with Germany. It would have required just 5,000 troops to secure the Kabul airport; but the government of Germany had been unable even to offer that level of contribution. Germany’s impotence during the crisis should be a wake-up call. Hence it is imperative that Germany develops a 5,000-strong intervention force that would train together with other EU troops, to have the logistical capacity to deploy and uphold the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in the world. The International Community is advised to keep a safe distance from the German government until these human rights issues have been resolved, and the German government has agreed to evolve and improve itself. In the meantime domestic policy, foreign policy and human rights issues concerning the Federal Republic of Germany will be handled by the NGO BTB-Global Peacebuilding. It must also be emphasized, that the situation in Afghanistan has outlined the importance for Europe - in particular the EU and the UK - to establish a joint permanent defence force; to honour their moral responsibility of protecting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in the International Community.
