SHORN: My Journey From Timid Sheep to Confident Shepherd: A Guide To Building Self Esteem In Small Doses

€ 0,93

Life is going to break you at some point in time, Multiple points even. That tends to do damage to one's self esteem levels. Another fact about life is that there are sheep and there are shepherds. The sheep tend to have no guidance or direction. They need to be led, and in most situations, just exist to service the needs of the shepherd. Humans aren’t that much different, we subconsciously yearn for any semblance of direction, a gigantic arrow sign in the sky with blinking neon lights, telling us where we should go or what we should be doing, which owes partly to the fact that we do not know why we are here (or how we got here even). On the flipside, the true winners in this lifetime are those who have been able to shed their wool, stand upright with their staff, and lead the herd, which requires confidence, and this confidence can only develop in individuals with skyscraper levels of self-esteem. They typically possess massive amounts of self-belief in their ability to influence and lead others. This is the baseline mindset of a Shepherd. Some are born with the shepherd traits and hone it via the environment they have grown up in. Others, merely adopt it after a long series of self-deprecating life experiences. These former sheep are now equals with other shepherds. They have transitioned from betas to alphas and forced their own luck to come their way. They are the Shorn. The narration of my life's experiences will serve as a set of tips, to help you build and rebuild your esteem levels. It will be your guide on your path to shedding all sheep-like traits (self-pity, self-doubt, irrational fear), and replacing them with that of the Shepherd's, which radiates leadership and confidence. Your happiness has a direct correlation with your esteem levels, and you will enjoy a slightly more improved standard of life once you understand the boosters of self esteem, and how to maintain them. - CWD
