Born in Ajalli, Eastern Nigeria, scriptwriter and novelist Onyi Anatune is passionate about controversial issues within the context of Human rights, Post-Colonial Legacies in Africa, Global Inequalities and Racism. He has written and published a few articles on such matters and on social media. After attending Federal Government College Wukari, he later went on to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria where he briefly studied Political Science, before returning to the United Kingdom.

Having worked and traveled around Europe, he began analysing the political landscape of developed nations, and took a special interest in the dynamics that contributed to sustained national development.
