In the process of renovating her Queen Anne style Victorian home, author, Anna Hughes decides to convert part of the attic into a quiet place to write. After seeing a stained glass window on the outside of the house that doesn’t show in the attic, it’s only natural, she’d insist on knocking down a wall. Once the wall is down, she discovers a room, complete with furniture, a trunk full treasures, and shadows hovering over it.

I read it in two days. I was intrigued after reading the description. The thought of a secret room covered over had me curious. I love a good mystery. Plus a good romance. I highly recomend this book if you like mystery and romance. BrenLee Reader

I loved the characters, the world, the mystery. I was just as drawn to the shadows as Anna was. I wondered what happened to them, and why they became shadows to begin with. J. Norstom Reader
