Sinds 1989 is het Canadese Annihilator non-stop doorgegaan met het uitbrengen van
albums en de wereld rond toeren. Deze keer was het tijd stylistisch eens terug te blikken.
In de woorden van main man Jeff Waters: "The new album captures some feel from
Annihilator’s 1985-87 demos mixed with the first 4 records. Back to the Thrash meets
melody but with some pure Waters guitar riffing and up-graded lead guitar shredding.
Lyrically, I placed a theme on the record: the human mind and all of its glory, complexity,
diversity, weaknesses and insanity."
