Black Label Society komt met een nieuwe versie van hun iconische debuutplaat Sonic Brew uit 1999. Op deze plaat staan behalve ‘blended’ versies van de originele nummers ook twee bonus tracks: een band / piano versie van Spoke In The Wheel en een akoestische versie van Black Pearl. Zakk Wylde over deze “20th Anniversary Blend”: “The original recording back in 1997 was mastered with high volume, alcohol, and dance. We went in and worked off the existing performances and focused on the high volume and dance while replacing the booze with viagra and anabolic steroids”. Vorig jaar kwam Black Label Society met verzamelplaat The Grimmest Hits. Deze kwam hoog in de hitlijsten en was hun populairste album sinds Order Of The Black (2009).
