Met de herfst in gang brengt Villagers The Sunday Walker EP uit op 12inch vinyl. Het betreft vier tracks die in basis zijn opgenomen rond de tijd dat hij aan The Art Of Pretending To Swim werkte – Conor’s zeer positief ontvangen vierde album die vorig jaar uitkwam op Domino. In Conor’s eigen woorden: “The tracks that fell through the cracks; it turns out they had their own story to tell. The Sunday Walker EP is a collection of lost songs as much as it is an emotional arc. Songs of loss and songs of realisation. Songs of empathy and isolation.”
