Brighton-based Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, a hard-working police officer who has given his life to the job.

I enjoyed this series very much & hope they make some more, which I don't say very often these days. John Simm & the cast are classy professionals. No gazing out of windows or walking in slow motion to fill up the time here. A quality storyline in each case. I haven't read all of the books so cannot comment on the screen play to tv, but would happily watch more.
