"Blue Öyster Cult" is het gelijknamige debuutalbum van de Amerikaanse hardrockband Blue Öyster Cult, uitgebracht in 1972. Het album bevat nummers zoals "Cities On Flame With Rock And Roll", "Stairway to the Stars" en "Then Came the Last Days of May", die de band nog steeds regelmatig speelt tijdens hun concerten. De band toerde samen met artiesten zoals The Byrds, Alice Cooper en het Mahavishnu Orchestra ter promotie van het album. Het album werd zeer positief ontvangen door de critici. The Village Voice noemde het zelfs 'de strakste en meest muzikale hardrockplaat sinds - 'Dare I say it' - "Who's Next". Deze MOCD release van "Blue Öyster Cult" bevat vier bonus tracks.
